Filming day

In the run up to filming day we had an issue with one of our actors as they couldn't come along to the day as they had other commitments. This meant that we could use a dog in our production as the dog was hers. this meant that we had to change the idea slightly and use another actor. We also struggled to find somebody that would be able to be there to use their car as our parents were both at work and friends with cars had other commitments. So we got my sister to as she had nothing going on that day, the only problem was that her car was a Citroen C3 so when it came to filming day we had to make sure that it was unrecognisable.

On filming we found that our location has more to offer as we didnt realise how much was actually there or how many hidden area's there was. This was a bonus as we could use some of these places for location shots. We started off filming Morgan for the flashbacks to her being tied up in a dark room.

We then filmed Morgan lying in the bags on the floor as our innocent by passer walked passed which was played by me. Throughout our filming we had a camera for the behind the scenes shots which was filmed by a friend of ours. At this point the lads nor the car was there as it helped us concentrate and focus on the shots that we could get of the location without loads of people being there and we didnt have to worry about where the car would be when we were filming these other shots.

Once we got the shots we wanted Jamie and Jason came down to the location as did my sister with her car so that we could get the shots we wanted from getting the body out the car and dumping it. We wanted the car lights to pull away and pan over the body but it was too light to see the car lights even on full beam. We did think about waiting around for it to get darker but it started to get really cold and because its on an open field we felt it a lot more then we expected. Also, we didnt think that the lighting would go well on the camera as the lighting was a bit off when we were filming in the inside room which helped but we wanted a good quality shot for this and didnt think it would work so we scrapped that idea.

Overall, we felt that the filming was successful as we got a range of shots, we just wish that we had a camera with a larger battery life.
